The Truth
Brandon admitted the truth to Jewels in November 2017. Despite the couple separating, the pair nonetheless remained close and in an incredible twist of fate. They re-marries in a beautifully intimate ceremony in Llandrindod Wells, Wales.
Jewels, an export administrator, told: ”The affair was just awful, I thought I’d never trust again.
”But we had such a close, honest relationship that I just ignored the warning signs.
”But when I discovered texts, and then the phone bill and the fact that he was acting weird and cold around me – I eventually started to suspect something.
”To top it all off Brandon had begun the process to transition to being a man. Thus, we had all that to contend with as well.
”After denying it for weeks he finally told me the truth, he broke down.
”I even met the colleague he was having the affair with and found out he was telling us both a pack of lies.
”That hurt and I learned we had to call it quits.
”I never thought we could go back to each other, but we were eventually together.”
“Our second wedding day was everything I’ve ever wished for, honestly it was so beautiful!”
The pair first met online in April 2012. And, they spoke every day for four months before meeting face to face.
Similarly, they fell in love in Germany.
Gap Between Them
But just four months later, after growing sick of the long-distance relationship, she made the move to Pembrokeshire in Wales. It was to be with Brandon.
Brandon says to Jewels early on in the relationship that he felt he was born in the wrong body. And she helped his decision to transition.
”Brandon just said nothing, I knew then that something was seriously wrong.”
They first married in April 2013 and were ‘blissfully happy’ until 2016 when Brandon’s mum died after a battle with dementia.
Jewels said: ”It was relatively hard for him. He lost his job around the same time too.”
”It put a strain on us but I wanted to help him, I trusted him and so I believed him 100%. I feel so naive now to say that but I did.”
